The Disaster Council is empowered to develop and recommend emergency and mutual aid plans and agreements for adoption by the Redlands City Council.
-
It brings together stakeholders across sectors (elected officials, emergency management, first responders, volunteer services, industry, healthcare, education) to coordinate disaster readiness.
-
It also oversees a subgroup, the Citizens Corps Council, which manages volunteer resources and helps implement citizen-based disaster preparedness efforts.
The Disaster Council meets quarterly at 4:00 pm on the 4th Monday of the month (and as needed).
-
Meetings are held in the City Council Chambers and are conducted in person.
Past agendas, meeting minutes, and notifications are published by the City of Redlands.
